Crate Training BeddingCrate mat specs that support crate training from day one
Crate training only works when the dog treats the kennel as a den, not a punishment. The mat inside that crate has to do four things at once: stay flat, stay clean, stay warm, and not slide when the dog turns in a circle. Most consumer-grade mats fail one of those four within a season.
- Flat lay: rectangular shape with no raised bolster, so anxious dogs can see out of the crate and accept the perimeter as “their space”.
- Low profile: 6-9 cm fill height keeps the dog level with the crate door, reducing the hop-up reflex that causes joint strain in puppies.
- Neutral base colour: grey, beige, and dark grey across all three collections, avoiding the pastel palette that limits private-label resale.
- 5 sizes: every size maps to a real wire crate on the market (24″ to 48″), so the wholesale buyer can build a range, not five SKUs of “almost the same”.
